My favourite hairstyles London Fashion Week

I love this time of year. With all the award shows like the Brits and Baftas and the fashion weeks. Everywhere are pictures of amazing styles, clothes, makeup and hairstyles. Which for me is the biggest one. Today I thought I would share my favourite hairstyles from the runway of LFW (London Fashion Week) a/w 2016. There were a lot of strong partings, especially low side partings. There was also a lot of hair jewellery too. There was a lot of styles I liked, but here are my favourites. 

Jag älskar den här tiden på året. När alla award shower som Brits och Baftas. Sen är det alla modeveckor. Överallt är det bilder på fantastiska stilar, kläder, smink och frisyrer. Vilket för mig är det bästa. Idag tänkte jag dela med mig och mina favorit frisyrer från catwalken av LFW (London Fashion Week) höst collection 2016. Det var många benor som dominerade, särskilt låga sidbenor. Det var även mycket smycken. Det var många stilar jag gillade men de här är mina favoriter. 

Alexander McQueen 

At Alexander McQueen there was messy updo's created by the talented  Guido Palau. The hair was then adorned with jewelled clips, chains and brooches. I love the whole look at Alexander McQueen. 

Hos Alexander McQueen var det rufsiga håruppsättningar som gällde, stylade av Guido Palau. Sedan var håret prytt med juveler, kedjor och broscher. Jag gillar hela looken hos Alexander McQueen.   

Erdem

Erdem had one of my favourite hair looks. A classic and soft look. The hair was styled by Anthony Turner. It was styled into thirties-style rolled chignons, with side partings and accessorised with jewelled clips and brooches. 

Erdem had en av mina favorit frisyrer. En klassisk stil stylad av Anthony Turner. Det var stylat till en trettio-tals rullad chinjong, med en sidbena och accessoerade med juveler och broscher. 

  

Leanne Marshall 

At Leanne Marshall there were long basket-woven ponytails. Styled by Jon Reyman from Aveda. Such an interesting way to style a ponytail that I'll be sure to copy sometime soon. 

Hos Leanne Marshall var det långa korgflätade hästsvansar. Stylade av Jon Reyman från Aveda. Ett sånt intressant sätt att styla en hästsvans som jag absolut kommer kopiera snart.

Princess Leia Hairstyle (Star Wars) | Halloween Edition

Hej Hej

Welcome to my latest video. In this tutorial you will need

- pintail comb
- hair bobbles
- bobby pins

- hairspray

Start with parting your hair in two doing a centre parting all the way through the hair.

Make two ponytails, one on each side just above your ear.

Back comb to add more volume and smooth the top layer.

Twist the hair and make your buns.

Secure with Bobby pins and add Hairspray.

You're now Princess Leia.

Wedding hair inspired by Frida Kahlo

Are you looking for wedding hair inspiration or just like looking at pretty hair? Continue to scroll down if that's the case. 

One of the favourite parts of my job as a hairdresser, must be styling wedding hair. To have the honour to be part of someone's most special day. Making someone look and feel beautiful on their big day. 

Yesterday I had the opportunity to style the hair for my friend Salma for her wedding. 

The bride's inspiration came from the artist Frida Kahlo. Her signature look was her braided hair with coloured fabric and flowers on top.

Here is the final look

I also did the hair of my friend Mumtaz, the brides cousin. We wanted to add some hight with a beautiful chignon in the back.

Review | John Masters Organic Conditioner

Today I'm reviewing one of my old time favourites. Lavender and avocado intensive conditioner from John Masters Organic.

You can use this as a normal conditioner, but I also like it as a deeper treatment. I just leave it on for few minutes and let it work its magic.

The treatment leaves my hair feeling soft, silky and healthy. It makes my hair easy to comb through and don't forget, it smells amazing.

I love this conditioner because it's not only organic, but free from parabens, sulphates and other nasties and it's vegan.

Packaging is not very exciting, but it has a kind of classic feel to it.
With it being £22 it is a bit on the pricey side. But if you use it as a treatment once a week it will last for ages.
